Club Presents Annual Scholarships

At the St. Clair High School Honors Convocation for the Class of 2022, the St. Clair Rotary Club presented two scholarships: one for $2,000 to Madison Rzeppa and the other for $700 to Erin Enderby.

Dedication of Doug Murphy Memorial Bench

At 6:30 p.m. on a beautiful May 16th evening, friends, family, Rotarians and city officials held a dedication ceremony to formally install the Doug Murphy memorial skateboard bench at St. Clair's Skate Park.

Kentucky Tornado Relief Drive

In response to the massive tornado that swept Kentucky on December 10th, local Rotarians Diane and Jim Ives organized and delivered 4,400 pounds of food, water and personal items donated from local sources.

On the evenings of October 22nd and 23rd, Rotarians Diane and Jim Ives, Pam Petitpren and Crystal Jahn and friends of Rotary Heather Hyslop and Esther Stevens hosted two fund raising dinners in support of Rotary's End Polio Now campaign.

First Annual Pine River Turtle Race Results

The first ever St. Clair Rotary Club Pine River Turtle Race was ran on August 29th at Rotary Centennial Park in St. Clair. It was a beautiful day with a strong southwesterly breeze that helped propel the rubber turtles to the finish line.

Farewell Parade for Exchange Student

With the COVID-19 pandemic's shutdown on international travel beginning to be lifted, the Club's foreign exchange student from Thailand, Wirithphon (Heart) Yoawannasiri, was able to return home on April 17th.

Club Establishes COVID-19 Challenge Fund

In partnership with the Community Foundation of St. Clair County, the St. Clair Rotary Club has established a Challenge Grant to raise money for the Community Foundation's COVID-19 Thumbcoast Regional Response Fund.

In response to the Governor's declaration to stay home to slow the spread of COVID-19, the Club conducted its first ever virtual meeting using the Zoom web meeting tool provided by Rotary District 6330.

Annual Red Kettle Drive begins

The St. Clair Rotary Club has begun its annual coordinated bell ringing campaign on behalf of the Salvation Army: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday December 5th, 6th, and 7th, and then again on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, December 12th, 13th, 14th!  Bell ringing times are from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm at Neiman's Family Market in St. Clair.

On April 19th and April 26th, the Rotary Club of St. Clair had behind the scenes tours of Lake Huron Medical Center and McLaren Port Huron Hospital. A tour of St. John’s River District Hospital will be conducted when current renovations of the hospital are completed.
