Mercantile Bank's acquisition of Eastern Michigan Bank

Wil Olford it the CEO for Eastern Michigan Bank and a resident of St. Clair Township.  There is an agreement with Mercantile Bank (headquarter in Grand Rapids, Michigan) to acquire Eastern Michigan Bank, assuming all the required approvals are given.  While the bank does not have a branch in the community it does business.  So there is interest in its activities.
