In 1924, the club held its first meeting at the St. Clair Inn. For 80 years, our club met at this old, historic English Tudor style inn known for its unique view of the St. Clair River, ships and old world ambience. The photograph above was taken in 1926. Note the old two-lane dirt road in front. That same roadway today is a four lane highway that brings many visitors and tourists to the Inn and our beautiful city.
